For about 2 weeks now when I go to the supermarket my fresh produce and this guy has had a table all set up with signs advocating for a law change that would allow all supermarkets to sell beer and wine.
I ignored him for the first week but yesterday I walked up to him and asked why the fact that not all grocery stores sold beer and wine was keeping him up at night and weren't there any more worthy causes to spend your time on?
Then I asked him if he had a job or was he using his vacation time to advocate for this most serious of issues.
He just stood there with a dumb look on his face and as i walked away he asked if I was going to sign his petition
I just laughed.
