Many students at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, Virginia, earned National Merit awards, but the school never notified them. According to U.S. News & World Report, Thomas Jefferson is the highest-ranked high school in the nation.

Since students were never made aware of their National Merit awards, they could not use them to potentially receive millions of dollars in college scholarships and boost their college admission opportunities.

The school district chose to withhold this information to comply with its strategy of "equal outcomes for every student, without exception."

Leftists are liars and cheats and destroying the nation of the best and brightest students, thus robbing the nation as well as the deserving students.

True equality is to treat everyone the same, and leave people up to their own ambition. A truly equal school would make everything the same for all the students, then the students have to earn their grades and rewards.

They should sue the school for every penny they can and the school should be forced to do away with their racist policies of propping up blacks at the expense of non blacks.

Fuck non whites. They can work for what they want. And don't tell me non whites are disadvantaged and poor because there are millions of broke ass rural and ghetto whites that would argue with you.

Ambition, hard work, intelligence, experience, personal responsibility are what rise you up or bring you down depending on your levels of them.

No one says this is for equality. You are not understanding what they are saying. What they want is EQUITY not equality. Equity is the opposite of equality. Equality means equality of opportunity and reward of merit. Equity means equality of outcome. Merit is discouraged.

In liberal academia everyone doesn't even get an award, as all atheletes get a trophy in progressive sporting competitons.

Their hard-EARNED achievements could not be acknowledged / celebrated ... until much later ... in the name of 'EQUITY'.

What does 'liberal control' over our education system look like?

The ability to read and write is not a requirement to graduate anymore, I guess. Zeroes have been rounded up to '50's. If you come to class, pass your CRT and Dem/trans-Indoctriation classes you can have your 'F's rounded up to 'C's and graduate.

I guess getting a '50' for just showing up IS akin to getting a 'participation trophy'...we just can't honor hard-working kids who excel...in the liberal / progressive name of 'EQUITY'.

Perhaps THIS (academic partcipation trophies) is what Joe Biden meant when he claimed to have graduated with 'honors'.
