(Thanks to NR for that phrase.)
Or…’History doesn’t repeat itself, but it sure does rhyme!’
1. It’s July 14,… 1789, you and several thousand of your friends and like-minded citizens decide that the conditions that have made your life unbearable give you the right to change them….by any means necessary.
You turn on your fellow citizens, rob, riot, burn and assault. You’ve decided that the oppressive government and the rigid structures imposed by religion, leave you with no other course of action.
2. “The murdering mobs that attacked the nearly empty Bastille (at the time of the siege there were only seven non-political prisoners) believed their actions were for a better France, similar to what Breivik envisioned for Norway when he gunned down innocent children at a camp. The storming of the Bastille was a catalyst for what became known as the “reign of terror.” Compared to what the French revolutionaries did, Breivik’s actions were mild. “French society underwent an epic transformation as feudal, aristocratic and religious privileges evaporated under a sustained assault from left-wing political groups and the masses on the streets.” How bad was it?
Internally, popular sentiments radicalized the Revolution significantly, culminating in the rise of Maximilian Robespierre and the Jacobins and virtual dictatorship by the Committee of Public Safety during the Reign of Terror from 1793 until 1794 during which between 16,000 and 40,000 people were killed.
Did you get that? Between 16,000 and 40,000 French citizens were killed for a better France,…”
Anders Behring Breivik: Just another Leftwing Radical
3. “What followed was a scene of tremendous butchery. More than two thirds of the Swiss Guard were slaughtered, many of them hacked to death by axe-wielding sans culottes. Heads were removed and displayed on pikes or kicked around for sport. Body parts were dismembered and waved around, then fed to dogs. Hordes of women from the city’s underclass followed behind the advancing soldiers, stripping the corpses of Swiss Guardsmen of their uniforms and belongings, scything off the genitals and stuffing them into their mouths." The attack on the Tuileries
4. In the course of France's short revolution, 600,000 French citizens were killed, and another 145,000 fled the country. Schom, "Napoleon Bonaparte," p. 253.
"That's in a country with between 24 and 26 million people, about the current population of Texas. In terms of population loss, that would be the equivalent of the United States having a 9/11 attack every day for seven years."
Coulter, "Demonic," p. 266.
5. But if the bloody results of the French Revolution had been foretold to the citizens of France some time prior to the Bastille, would they have said, “yes,’ let’s rip fellow citizens to shreds, lets cut the heads off the Swiss Guards an kick them around like footballs.”
When not stoked up on the inspiration of the elites, the intellectuals, would they have taken to that course of action?
6. And more to the point….if you were one of said citizens….would you have agreed????
And, if it had been left to a vote, whether to behave as the above or not…..you would have voted a resounding “Yes!!!”
Will you scream ‘Black Lives Matter’….or ‘Ima stab you!’
You would….if you are prepared to lend your support, your vote, to this modern version of horrifying agenda:
The Democrat Party is now running on full-blown anti-white racism, socialism, infanticide, opposition to free speech, substituting illegal alien voters for the American citizenry, support for rioters, arsonists, murderers, and anarchists, and anti-Semitism… the knuckle-dragging, atavistic pagan party.
And chaos, violence, assault are the time-honored methods to achieve same.
