31 year old Stephen Miller missed his calling. He ought to have gone into acting in the entertainment industry; there he would have easily earned an Emmy, playing himself as a Nazi on The Man in the High Tower TV Series.
Watching him on Meet the Press, who would have thought he was anything more substantive than a man-child reading a script for a part in a dystopian play.
What do you, the reader, think of his performance?
Is everyone who's tired of wetbacks riding the backs of hard working real Americans a Nazi?
I have a feeling whom you call a Nazi I call a a Patriot.
You have every right to offer that opinion, the reader has every right to question your attachment to reality. Your use of the pejorative "wetbacks" is telling, an example of scapegoating a minority, a fixture in historically fascist governments.
Lefty has no problem throwing around terms he doesn't understand like Nazi and Fascist which really is a description of Leftist Political Tyranny. But call an illegal and illegal....and well then.....they are offended.
Your premise is a lie and your conclusions are bullshit.
The Nazi party was a political party which supported fascism during its rise to power in the Third Reich. Fascism existed in Europe, S. America and Asia in different forms but with the same basic structure - a powerful leader with absolute power and varying degrees of despotism, extreme nationalism, suppression of opposition, attacks on the press, militarism and scapegoating minorities.
There is no question in my mind that Stephen Miller epitomizes the Trump administration, and the ideology he, The President and his inner circle have created, this form of fascism: Nativism + Populism lead by an Authoritarian Leadership,
vis a vis, a system with checks and balances, & power shared by all three branches created in the first three articles of the Constitution.
A close reading of these three articles reveals Art. II has the least power and the most checks on the power. A wisdom learned from the era of the Divine Right of Kings, put to pasture during The Enlightenment. Historically speaking, imagine our nation ruled by the First and Second Estates, today we might call that an Oligarchy of the power elite, and that is what trump&co seem intent on creating.
Thanks in part to the 1st A., and the good work of the press, the cabal set on reforming America into a Plutocracy will fail, and the power of the people will once again plot a safe course for our nation in voting booths across America.
The two most important issues between now and Nov. 2018 are the protection of the right to vote, and the vote itself; and the freedom of the press to report the news, not alternative news.
Fascism came to America on Jan 20th, 2016; the adults in the Republican Party need to toss the radical element which hijacked that party under the bus; reclaim the party of Lincoln and Eisenhower to assure the Oligarchy on the Alt. Right governs no more.
