Stephen Colbert is saying goodbye

CBS wanted him to sign a longer contract.
Watch for local affiliates to start losing viewers of their 11PM news.

lol those networks are already reduced to running paid programming like a minor UHF station now. Cable networks are tanking, and have been for a while. CNN might as well start renting time slots to lawn mower marketers.

Yeah, who needs that pesky freedom of speech in the first amendment?
Which was denied to Republicans on the major networks to start. That ph uk deserves to be taken to task and worse for what he has done. He has promoted others to do violence for the agendas while washing his hands of it. He has been around long enough to see the failures and yet pushed more of the same without adjusting. The men that died for this nation in wars and shit like this is the result. And it is not freedom.

Adam Kinzinger ?
Thanks for supporting my position:
Former Illinois Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger left Congress in January 2023 after choosing not to seek reelection. This decision followed his prominent role on the House January 6th Committee and his vote to impeach President Donald Trump, which led to heavy backlash, censure by his own state party, and severe death threats against his family

Got an example to share or are you just venting?

Well, that's what happens when they suck up and help make the government more powerful.

They depend on the government for success and use it for protection.

And when the bill comes due, they pony up.

You mena like Obama's "to big to fail"?

Or, like Truman....and out-and-out attempt to sieze an entire industry.

Or, Like Nixon using the EPA to get what he wanted?

Or Biden pushing scrubber technology on coal fired plants that was so expensive they had to shut down?

It's been going on since FDR and before.

Where have you been?
Until now it has never been quite so personal. In this case it is not about policy differences it is about disrespecting Trump.

I thought you already did that when Fox was sued for 700 million dollars just for posting how Dominion machinese were susceptible to contaminated databases via the internet.
That was a civil suit brought by Dominion when Fox made an accusation they could not prove and that could destroy Dominion's business. I don't believe the DoJ had any part in it.

Kinzinger is literally the living example of a human worm, crying like a baby and showing no courage. He deserved any and all backlash he got, minus the death threats of course.

Didn’t watch his last show Colbert will be fine he has his millions CNN, MSNOW, along with his buddies Kimmel, Fallon and Stewart the View and any number of podcasts have given him open invitation to be on their show and in probably a year or so some streaming service will offer him a show.

Being left wing or being a moron should not cause the government to get involved.
The government has always applied pressure and have, at times, been totally untransparent (Clinton).

You guys just need another reason to cry.

And, nobody has ever taken the amount of flak from the media that Trump has.

You never listened to any of Nixon's rants?
He had his enemies list but I don't recall the DoJ being involved.

Some might say that no president has ever been so deserving of that flak as Trump has. He is chaos personified and even he can't believe 1/2 of what he says.

The Nixon administration’s enemies list inspired bipartisan revulsion. Its purpose was, in the immortal words of President Richard Nixon’s White House counsel, to “use the available federal machinery to screw our political enemies.”

The revelation of the list’s existence during the Watergate hearings of 1973 provoked conservative columnist and Nixon supporter William F. Buckley Jr. to use the f-word in print. Yes, Buckley called the enemies list “an act of proto-fascism. It is altogether ruthless in its dismissal of human rights. It is fascist in its reliance on the state as the instrument of harassment.”

Got an example?
Just gave you one.

Did you ever read All the President's Men? He was all over the Washington Post.

Some might say that no president has ever been so deserving of that flak as Trump has. He is chaos personified and even he can't believe 1/2 of what he says.
He was catching it, especially discussions of impeachment, before he was sworn into his first term.

Stop diluting what you clowns have created.

When you get a president into office, we are going to make his life miserable.

I saw a video once by some election machine experts who set up one of the machines then did something and showed that the machines were indeed capable of giving contradictory info, reporting everything was fine and accurate in one place yet give numbers which did not add up.

and that could destroy Dominion's business.
If the machines are corruptible, then maybe they don't deserve any business. I've yet to ever meet a single electronic machine or computer which couldn't be skewed to give erroneous data.

If you want accuracy, you cannot beat a physical card.

Did you tell Fox News? You could have saved them almost a billion. Guiliani would also have benefited.

That 'if' requires evidence that I'm sure Fox would have found IF it existed.

If you want accuracy, you cannot beat a physical card.
Do the words "hanging chad" ring a bell?

What an embarrassment this idiot has been. He and Kimmel have destroyed late night comedy with their Far Left propaganda.
I was a Johnny Carson and Jay Leno fan for years, truly funny men who didn't sully their programs with cheap, stupid shots at the current President. In fact, they rarely dealt with politics at all. And when they did, they were equal opportunity jokesters.
To Colbert and Kimmel, since you two have no class and no sense of humor and have ruined the late night comedy franchise forever, let me send this from me to you:

Yeah, their comedy appealed to both sides. Hell, even Conan Obrian recently said something to the effect that your comedy shouldn't just be attacking one side.
