Billions of dollars damage, mostly to private businesses/enterprises via the rampant vandalism, looting, arson, and other mayhem. Reason was supposedly police murder of a criminal suspect, though other sources attribute that to the victim's general health aggravated by the drugs he took earlier that day. Also the Summer 2020 riots by AntiFa and BLM resulted in scores of assaults and injuries and a couple dozen deaths.
