What about the COST of having that cheap illegal migrant labor? The $160 billion a year? And then you have them lowering the caliber of the schools and the caliber of the home properties in the areas they settle.

First, nobody is screaming about “immigrants.” Despite your attempt to legitimize them, they are ILLEGAL aliens.

Second, you are not factoring in the cost of the illegals. They bring down the caliber of the public schools, and the surrounding home properties plummet. So….our American kids get a worse education, and their parents see their equity drop.

The illegals you want to bring into this country are a net drain on America. They are lower in caliber than Americans, and thus lower the caliber of the country.

- 65% of adult illegals have no education beyond high school compared to 35% of Americans

- 59% of families headed by an illegal use one or more government welfare programs, compared to 39% of Americans

- The estimated net cost of EACH illegal Is $68,000

- The cost to educate them is $68 billion annually

And of course none of this considers the cost to children in the form of lower caliber school and to their parents in the drop in home equity in the areas where illegals settle.

I’d rather pay more for a head of lettuce, or get unskilled Americans to pick it by cutting off their welfare - and then keep the schools from deteriorating, the property values from dropping, and the $160 billion in net costs these low-caliber people cause.
