Aren't they doing Firestarter 2 with Drew Barrymore's daughter ?

Wow! How does Hollywood come up with all these original ideas?

Creative wizards.

Already was a part 2, so I guess it would be 3.

A recent list of the the 20 most anticipated movies of 2022 contained 18 that were reboots, remakes, or sequels.

Thank goodness the streaming TV services are producing some original content.

Next they'll be privatizing drone strikes....if they don't already.

Well, this from Al Jazeera a week ago

"A report by Brown University’s Costs of War project and the Center for International Policy shows that the US’s dependence on for-profit contractors for war-zone duties contributed to mission failures in Afghanistan in particular."

"Up to half of the $14 trillion spent by the United States Department of Defense since the September 11, 2001 attacks went to for-profit defence contractors, a new report by Brown University’s Costs of War project and the Center for International Policy found."

No wonder they stayed for 20 years. Too much profit to be made.

I saw more exciting space flights 50 years ago

What's exciting is that they spent 3 days in space, Bezos and Branson went up and down really quickly. This is proper space tourism. It's a new era, perhaps.

Trust me....you won't have to anticipate any replies from me from now on, verbal, image-filled, filmed or otherwise.....
What a snowflaky dweeb.

Ah, insults. Ignore list for you.

...and Apollo 13 was a nail biter!

True story ... the Apollo 13 mission wasn't widely covered by the news (even CBS) until the incident.

When ABC cut into the regularly scheduled programming for updates on the inflight emergency over 1 MILLION people called the networks to complain about a RERUN of "Batman".

This is less than a year since every TV set on the planet was tuned in to watch Niel Armstrong walk on the moon.

The phenomenon of how the world got bored with space flight is much more historically significant than the moon landings themselves. It truly points to something wrong with our species.
