I married into an Italian family - not a family with Italian surnames, people from Italy. My wife was the first one born in the U.S.
They LIVED THEIR ENTIRE LIVES SPEAKING ITALIAN. They worked at jobs where everyone spoke Italian, shopped in stores where everyone spoke Italian, went to an Italian church, and socialized only with each other. The men had to at least understand some English because of jobs, but their mastery was minimal.
That generation is almost all gone now, and the women never did reach the point where they could hold a conversation on any subject other than food, even though by the time they passed away, they had lived 75% of their lives in the U.S.
Until the day they all died, they voted straight Democrat, because many of them worked for the City of Pittsburgh, and the ones who didn't followed the practices of those who did. They HAD NO IDEA why one would vote for one party or another in this country, only that the Democrats would get their votes.
Interestingly, many of them were natural-born U.S. citizens even though they were born in Italy. Their father had come over before WWII and been naturalized, and all of his children got automatic citizenship merely by showing up and registering.
If I were Emperor, I would require everyone registering to vote for the first time to pass the same Civics test, in English, that immigrants now have to pass in order to be naturalized.

China's culture focuses on real education...especially the sciences and mathematics.
You won't see this diversity nonsense affecting China.
That said, the world is becoming brown and eventually will have no white or black. I have no problem with that.
But I doubt it will fix any of humanities problems.
