Speaking in Tongues

Should the U.S. formally adopt English as its national language? Stop catering to those who don't speak English in government offices and programs?

If you can't pass a simple Civics test IN ENGLISH, you should not be voting.
ok, but what does that have to do with "government offices and programs?"

What do yinz think?
I think - what does it matter? Why are you afraid of people speaking another language? Have you literally only lived in bumfuck Mississippi?

Are schools "catering to" kids who need to learn math?

what does that have to do with what i said Unkotare?

~S~

Kids who need to learn math are taught math. It's not "catering," it's educating.

That is not a fact. For the 1000000000000th time, the great majority of ESL students in American public schools ARE US citizens.

Also, "English" and "whether." You realize that YOU are a "non-English speaker," right?

That is not a fact.
yeah it is in a sanctuary state, where schools have to hire bilingual tutors UnKotare

and yes they're a scant minority, yet a major expense to deal with that's elevated our $$ per pupil here
