Some Federal Workers Hearing Tough Truths from Family Members

They should have learned to code, eh?
Nope. But there was no need for the nation to treat them like they did. Long hours little time off, unsafe conditions all for low pay. They needed much stronger unions to drive up wages and demand safer conditions.

About 62k on average. Not a bad gig for what they do
Conservation Is Hoarding

What those useless parks do is keep half our potential national wealth from being developed. Serfs who think the plutocracy wants to benefit the rest of us don't understand the motives of Trustfundee Treehuggers.

Lol, no. Try again. What do they do?

Lol, no try again. By the way what is it you think they do. I doubt you know that either.
They Call It the "Green Party" Because That's the Color of their Daddies' Money

The same thing as armed guards at a Kroger warehouse, staying there until everything inside rots. All this touchy-feely nature-worship hides a vicious motive to make the 99% have less money than they deserve as the eminent domain owners of these presently useless National Parks.

Exxon sat on Alaska oil leases for 25 years, so Trump shouldn't give any more of them to the Majors.

The sarcasm level here is thick. However there are those who would develop the parks so $ could be made. Scary.

A whole lot of people want the government gravy train jobs. But, someone has to get serious about continually adding onto our 37 trillion dollar national debt with stupid ass jobs that aren't really needed.
Everything They Make Us Believe Is Make-Believe

The natural resources these Smokey Bears keep us from developing are worth far more than 37 trillion dollars.

And don't fall for the rulers' lies that this potential widespread wealth is being saved for future generations. We've barely scratched the surface of the Earth's resources, so those on top are being intentionally kept out of circulation.

Mining is one of the worst professions in history. But if you get laid off and wanted the job then thats just as sad. This is not an either / or.
Much more honest answer.

Did you ever lament their losses of jobs?

Why didn't you help them do that?
So many of these leftists are stuck hundreds of years in the past. To hear them talk, you would think that coal is excavated solely with hammers and shovels in this day. Any discussion always goes back to bbbut, bbbut, the bad industrialist--capitalist--business owner in the middle ages.

Naturalists and archeologist make more. The girl in question was a ranger. I know you are a teacher. Don't know what you teach but unless you are teaching math or science at a high school level. Archeologist or naturalist is much harder schooling than your typical education curriculum.
Archeologists Are Crackpots Obsessed with Cracked Pots

Leftists are often divorced from the real world. Many government workers at all levels are Leftists, and often out-of-touch.

I worked for DoD for 8 years - 3 in the Army - and I know what I'm talking about.

I lost my job at least four times during my post-government career. On a couple of those occasions I actually agreed with the decision. It is part of life. To suppose that YOUR job loss is a tragedy to anyone other than yourself is a conceit that reveals more about you than it does about others.

Deal with it.

The source is "Time" magazine. Hardly conservative.
The Upper Class's Time Is Up

It used to be, before the ideologies switched sides. But that's only like the same person completely changing his wardrobe.

RichKid Reich's right wing: "We got ours, and we're not going to let you get yours."

Its partners on the Left: "We got ours, and we're going to give yours away."

Yep. But those that go underground should be receiving a greatly increased salary. The industrialist will of course disagree. Deny them a workforce and listen to them sing "nobody wants to work" and other such lies. Abject lies.

How many coal miners do you know? I've known a couple in my life and they had no problem with going underground. Like pilots don't mind flying and people building high rises don't have a problem--it is their choice. Back to the miners. Both of them felt they were receiving fair wages, hours and benefits and this was in the 80s.

Fair wages would be $100 per hour in today's world. If it drives up coal prices then fine.
