Somali Cilantro and Green Chile Pepper Sauce

1/2 cup full-fat unsweetened coconut milk
3 TBSP freshly squeezed lime juice, plus more as needed
2 TBSP white vinegar or white wine vinegar
1/2 cup cilantro
2 jalapenos, stemmed and coarsely chopped (I seeded mine)
2 large garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp granulated sugar
1 tsp kosher salt

Put it all in a blender or a food processor. Add more salt and/or lime juice. Use it on anything.

I'm not going to say it was the best thing ever but it was good and unusual. I liked it. The recipe is from Bibi's Kitchen.

I didn't know that there was a period that Italy conquered Somalia at any point. There is a pasta recipe in there that uses Xawaash Spice Mix and it's added to a hamburger meat sauce and then on pasta.
