A huge increase in solar with storage in Australia. A 24/7 source of power for Australia, with no real downsides. We could do the same here were we to have sane leadership in our government.

It won't work here.
LOL How about a thousand hours of 8.5 MW/hrs?It doesn't work there either.
The batteries can hold such a small charge compared to what the grid usually needs. Maybe an hor or two at most of power.
Solar panels and batteries are completely recyclable. In fact, if you consider the tertiary lithium ion battery as an ore, it is a very high grade ore. And the same for wind turbines, including the blades.Toxic waste as far as the eye can see.....great plan
Already working here;It won't work here.
Then why are the blades going to landfills.Solar panels and batteries are completely recyclable. In fact, if you consider the tertiary lithium ion battery as an ore, it is a very high grade ore. And the same for wind turbines, including the blades.
Because burying them is how they recycle them. Then why are the blades going to landfills.
How does that work?Because burying them is how they recycle them.

It was a jokeHow does that work?
So, 2200 homes for one day. At a cost of around 5 million dollars. How is it supposed to save the utility money? My city has a couple small 11 MW battery farms and is looking to add more. Each one is supposed to save the utilities like $30M over 20 years
Solar and wind powers a few houses. Zero industry. So, 2200 homes for one day. At a cost of around 5 million dollars. How is it supposed to save the utility money?
Wind turbine blades are currently impossible to recycle. If old dumb crock new just the basics of chemistry the crock of shit would understandSolar panels and batteries are completely recyclable.
