It seems to me that anyone who says they believe in AGW should have already installed one regardless of subsidies or cost. Especially since they claim they are so great. So if they haven't installed solar panels and bought an EV, it makes me wonder if they really do believe in AGW.

OK, if that is the case, why should we build anymore fossil fuel generation? In the meantime, 90% of new generation in the US was renewables in 2024;

Fossil fuel generation is generally built closer to the existing transmission system, is more reliable (in terms of guaranteed generation ratings), and is just easier for the utilities to deal with than most renewables.

We’re building renewables because the government and the woke citizenry has put every possible roadblock in the way of building any new fossil fuel or nuclear generation.

Unfortunately this could eventually lead to a reduction in the available power resources. How? You ask… because most renewables are rated in a range rather than at a specific rating because they are so affected by weather and other factors; compared to a fossil fuel generator which puts out a constant Mw value.

Here in Chicago, the limited hours of useful sunlight make solar panels a giant waste of money. Yes, electricity from coal is very useful and reliable.

Just increase cosl miners wages bigly. It wont affect coal prices. Or just don't have miners go underground. Both are workable. Its nice that the funding for black lung disease was cut. Thats a really nice move.
