The LNP Opposition...[Liberal Party [centre right "conservatives] and National Party [rural...farmers etc] Coalition...referred to as "The Coalition", the Right self destructed...went down the DOGE road, promising to reduce the number of employees.
That went down like a lead balloon with voters.
Also promised to end 'work from home' and make all govt workers go into the office.
Women voters went 'ballistic'.
Also promised renewables to include 'Nuclear'. The majority don't want nuclear, Albo ran a scare campaign about safety and cost...some people accused 'lies'.
Those policies were sheer lunacy. I shook my head in disbelief when I heard about it.
Want to reduce the number of govt employees? You do it by natural attrition.

Also, Albo rushed citizenship for thousands of immigrants in western Sydney so they could vote, in electorates where his Ministers could be in trouble.

And declared;

. Free daycare 3 days a week for everyone, whether parents working or not.
. Free TAFE [technical and further education] courses.
TAFE NSW – Trusted Training and Career Pathways

. Student loans reduced by 20%.
. Income at which students then have to start repaying student loans raised from about $50,000 to $75,000.

A long list of free stuff...too numerous to list here.
Some young people seem to think they're going to get a free house from 'Santa' Albo-Labor.
Billions here, billions there, billions somewhere else. That's B for Billions...not M for Millions.
Billions thrown around like confetti.
Voters couldn't get their votes in quickly enough to get their share of the billions.
The national debt now over a trillion dollars.

The LNP Coalition wanted to spend money 'defending Australia'...war ships, war planes, long range missiles.

It looks like other nations are learning from our experience with the Right..first, Canada, and now Australia have reversed trends and voted in leftist Labor Governments.
