"Socialism" Isn't the big bad boogie word Republicans want it to be any more

Trump has placed the power of the government in his own hands

By definition, an autocrat
By cutting the power of government which is the opposite. Democrats are the authoritarians and insert the state into every aspect of our personal lives. They even put men in womens bathrooms

What does that mean? What does it have to do with me?
Its just an observation about the left

They are always demanding that their policies be enacted and demonizing the winners of the election when libs dont get their way

I don't give a **** what leftwingers think. Trump is a big government authoritarian. Conservative??? Gimme a ******* break.
Do you want no government?

How much is acceptable to you?

dblack

A good example are the obstructionist lib judges who keep blocking trump operations

They are almost always overturned by a higher court and are simply engaged in obstructionism

Moreover, when Trump is finished dragging the "conservative" brand, as represented by the Republican party's utter hypocrisy, through the cesspool - the backlash will push us firmly into the socialist's clutches.
I think you over estimate some things, but time will tell.

While I can't argue the stupidity and lack of integrity on the part of GOP leadership, the other side isn't carrying anything of value.

Government programs, if implemented, won't last long as our debt is 5 to 10 years away from the PONR.

How about we try to let the federal government handle the 18 enumerated powers in the US Constitution, like foreign affairs, national defense, some interstate commerce, and protecting our sovereignty as a nation? Then we can handle all the other stuff at the state or local level, where it was intended to be handled.

Do you have an example?

I believe the dems are guilty of that more than trump is

And it has brainwashed the under 30 kids who are ready for it
It's the younger generation that has always pushed for radical change.

I don't believe they are pushing for socialism. I believe, in our country, they are looking for more government safety nets.

And given the utterly pathetic leadership of this country (on both sides.....especially GWB), I don't blame them.

Our fight is to let states do what they want (socialist type programs) instead of trying to do everything from the corrupt cesspool we call D.C.

He certainly doesn't represent me, or my values - so I'm calling it a bad thing.
If your values don't involve capitalism and a robust economy and common sense immigration and trade policy, then I guess Trump doesn't represent them, but that's not bad on him.

And now for the checkmate question you can't and won't answer: Which president in the past 100 years has governed more conservatively than Trump?

The pampered and soft under 30’s would not last a month during the Great Depression

We are guilty of it, and it doesn't matter what party you want to blame. We need to stop kicking the can up to Capitol Hill all the damn time thinking they are going to fix any of the mess they have made.

If We don't stop surrendering our power to the federal government and fighting each other over crap that is none of the federal government's business and can be better handled with more respect to what the people actually want in their states and communities, then We are going to get crushed by the outside influences that are coming for us with a vengeance, and a better understanding of how consolidated power actually works.

Do you need an example of that is going to happen?

GWB Medicare Prescription act which he worked with (of all people) Ted Kennedy is a real doozy.

That was from conservatives.

On the left:

The biggest are Social Security and Obamacare.

Even the dissenting opinion against Roberts cowardly switch stated clearly there was no place in the constitution for the federal government to be doing this.

That is so general I dont see anything to respond to

Whatever.....

Young people, especially those radicallized in universities have generally been leaders in revolution....most of which have be cataclysmic failures.

Our young people are no different.

That is so general I dont see anything to respond to

But you did anyway, so keep fooling yourself. There's nothing general to it, because you are most certainly part of the We.
