How will he come in this new age to win followers to his religion?

Once I attained a certain age of maturity, I did not doubt the existence of Satan (my life history kinds of proves it IMO). But even when I was a child, there was demonic activity in my life, which came from who-knows-where. Was the house we lived in haunted? I don't know. But there was no serious mortal sin going on in my family, that I know of but I used to have horrifying dreams in that house, and did not have them once we moved.

If there is no hell, there is no sin? That kinda depends on your definition of sin, doesn't it? I consider sin to be the evil that any man might commit against others. It doesn't require your favorite god to have put it on a naught list.

And indeed, if there is no Hell, there is really no pressing need or any need Period, to repent to try to avoid going there. I have heard from saints (canonized) who have said that Satan's greatest trick is convincing people he doesn't exist.

for one thing, I did not say that. But sin is a monstrous thing. It destroys human beings (self and others sinned against by you). God is pro life. that means he doesn't want them to sin, as sin destroys the life he created.. spiritually and in other ways... He created human beings in His image. He wants them all to get to Heaven and be with Him forever. If he never allowed any egregious consequences to result from sin.. which is hard for me to even imagine.. if he always let humans get away with such destructive behavior... What kind of God would He be? He would not be a just God. It is SIN that drags people into Hell, not God, not even Satan (although he tries hard..). The Word says "Be angry, but sin not"

God knew we would become angry with Him (for not answering all our requests, etc...). I think this passage is about our relationship with Him, not so much humans, though really both.

Anyway, where was I?

If the consequences of egregious (mortal) sin do not make a person repent AND have a fear of Hell.. well... I guess the devil just lies to them and tells them there are no consequences... or what have you. In the end maybe i can only speak of my own experiences. There weren't many dire consequences for my sins until I found out how holy God is (long story there)....

Their end of the world scenario involved Climate Change. They must save us all from it, as it will take any freedom or amount of money to do it. There are no limits as what can be more important than saving the world?
