At least the way they're talking, everybody is. I do know that the President wanted a limit on single people making 75K a year, and 150K a year for couples, but who knows if that's in the bill or not.

Why does every leftist think that emergency relief is “socialism”? Conservatives know that there are times when government needs to step up and take action. You probably think that having a fire department is “socialism” too.

The stimulus is nothing more than government handout to those that need it. Nothing wrong with it as it will help the economy, but I am just making a point. This board is chock full of Trumpers railing against welfare and other government programs,. The stimulus is just another government assistance program that you all have been against. Let us all give thanks to FDR who made these type assistance programs possible. Call this handout whatever you will, except that many conservatives call social security, welfare, etc. socialism all the time. Of course, it may be that conservatives all are against programs that give money to others, but if given to them, well that’s a different story!

The bush boy sent out 2 checks. I got one of them. I didn't want it so I donated it to charity.

Which is what I will do with this check if I get one.

I don't want or need the money so I will give it to the charity I found when I got one of the bush boy's checks. An organization that does nothing but pay for abortions and help women get to a state where they can have one.

So your tax dollars will pay for some abortions. Again.

I learned in the bush boy years that the government will send that check whether I want it or not.

I got one of the bush boy's checks. I make too much for me to have gotten the second one. If I don't make too much to receive this one from trump, I will do what I did with that bush boy check.

Donate it to charity.

We are talking about government handouts here. That is what the stimulus is about. Call it socialism or whatever you like. Regardless, it is the conservative philosophy to oppose them. Either you think government should not be handing our money or you do. If you take the funds when you are philosophically opposed to government handouts than you are being a hypocrite. But of course Ann Rand went on welfare so whenever government money is going to conservatives, they tend to junk their philosophy rather quickly.
