For now that we all know that Trump was elected president where are we going to go from here as a nation? Obviously Trump is going to close the border and start drilling but then what? Will the lefties start burning things again? Will we always be able to keep our Republic even after Trump's four years are up?

Like last time? Build another wall (lol) and have Mexico pay again?
The oil companies refuse to drill anymore but you would not know this .

What is it you fear will be burned? The dems are the adults. They are peaceful turning over power. No lies about cheating. No frivolous lawsuits. No strong arm change the result calls. No alternate set of electors. No pressure on the VP to refuse to certify the election.

I don't know but I know this much- 2028 is going to be a crowded field of candidates from both parties.

The GOP has an incumbent that is term-limited, and the dems have no obvious heir-apparent for Obama. So it will be wide open, and whoever gains some national prominence between now and then will be a front runner.
