Yeah--that's the corker--we're to believe that our inefficient government that has proved themselves to be very wasteful over many decades--is all of a sudden going to "change" their ways?

No one has said that the system was going to be paid for by cutting waste. A portion of health care will. But if you listned to Republicans, they once again make it sound like Obama is saying just about the whole thing is going to be paid for by waste measure, which isn't true.

Let's hypothetically say that we can't even pay for a $1 of this $900b proposed reform. The war in Iraq and Afghanistan alone have cost over $3 trillion (officially numbers from white house are almost $1 trillion).

If we can find money to kill thousands of people in order to make a few people very very rich (and many corporations rich), then shame on us for not finding the money to ensure (and I didn't say insure) the health and well being of our citizens. Every other country gets and understand this necessity, yet despite every number and statistics that you can point out to the average brainwashed Republican, they still don't get it.

And the beat moves on, while the rich get richer, and the pawns in this game get tossed to the side (but the valiantly gave their lives for the king). We REALLY need some education reform next....
