Something that's no hindrance to getting reelected by the way. Openly threatening to take a part of European territory is perfectly acceptable. Starting UNPROVOKED trade wars is no problem. Alliances don't mean much if anything. In fact, siding with the aggressor is preferred. The environment should be ignored in favor of profit. All of these things by the way are true for Canadians to. Making me question your allegiance to your own country.

So, if it's a binary choice I can't say clearly which of these 2 shit sandwiches is the most palatable. I used to, not anymore.

Trump didnt instigate a trade war, China has for the last 30 years. Add in the spying, poisoning of Americans and China should WELCOME 150% tariff. That's childs play compared to what some presidents in the past would have done.
