The removal of these sanctions will provide Moscow's Rosatom company with a critical source of revenue as American and European sanctions crush Russia's economy in response to its unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. The concessions to Moscow have generated frustration on Capitol Hill, with top Republican leaders accusing the Biden [junta] of weakening penalties on Russia to secure an agreement with Iran. . .

The official further confirmed that the United States will "not sanction Russian participation in nuclear projects that are part of resuming full implementation of the JCPOA," such as work on Iran's civilian nuclear program. "The United States will take actions as necessary to ensure that U.S. sanctions do not apply to the implementation of JCPOA nuclear-related projects and activities by non-U.S. individuals and entities," the official said.
So by definition Biden and everyone supporting Biden in this are war criminals.

No they don't, they can trade oil for coal and natural gas and generate all the power they'll ever need.
We supported Iran's plans to build nuclear power plants. The US was training their nuclear techs and the German company Siemens was building the plant. The US said that the Iranians needed nuclear power to become an industrialized country.

Quite a few times have I read claims on this forum that the US should leave Europe on their own and stay away from wars and conflicts there. But it is quite rarely said the same about the Middle East. Leave this region too and let the nations there decide their own fate.

The Iranian revolution was significant.. and the US was blindsided. We had ignored the student protests. Siding with the Shah was a mistake. We helped cheat Iran out of their oil revenue.
