Here on the east coast it's a rainy, miserable Saturday and I'm staying inside, and far away from any chaos in any metro areas.

We just had an American President threaten other Americans with "a very heavy force" if they dared to protest at his birthday party/military parade. The message was abundantly clear. Has an American President ever done that before? Not that I know of. No other President has ever suppressed opposing speech with clear and specific threats.

If we're not alarmed by that, if we don't see what they're protesting against, that kind of blatant authoritarianism, then we may be lost.

I went to the "no kings" protest at my community. There were lot's of people..but it was truly pathetic. Hundreds of low IQ, indoctrinated, virtue signaling people just trying to be relevant with their stupid signs and noise makers. The hypocrisy was humorous. "No more pardons!" (uh remember Biden's preemptive pardons for his entire family?)...."Hands off my body!" (Held by a female that resembled a farm animal)..."No human is illegal" held by an old lady that likely get's her house cleaned for cheap by an illegal immigrant etc... Then there were the idiots with megaphones ..."put Trump in jail" and the crowd would chant "Put Trump in Jail".....No purpose, no message..nothing...they were not even upset. They just wanted to get together, hold signs and have a TDS festival.

I attended a protest once in Washington DC. We had very clear, concise demands.....End the draft (Hell no we won't go) and to end the senseless un winnable war that was killing thousands of innocent people. Such a contrast!!!! We did not want to be drafted (forced) into killing people. We were serious...it was not a party. We (illegally) marched up to Nixon's front door and burned draft cards (illegally) in front of cameras.

This "protest" was an embarrassment for any American that ever protested with sincerity.

The "peace marches" in the 1970s actually helped to end that war. The "no kings" protests were just another example of idiots showing off their TDS.
