So, How Many of You Hope the Gaza Peace Plan Will Fail?

You can't threaten a group of people who invites death.

Agreed. But if they are insistent in dying for their cause against a better armed foe?

This;

Is far more persuasive to the world community than this;

They were insistent, i think, on hoping someone else in the middle east would join the cause. Oops, all the other death cultists in those middle east states chose money and their economies over Allah's death wish.

Now Hamas is straight fked.

Israel wants complete disarmament of Gaza and Hamas and zero role for Hamas in any future administrative role in Gaza.

This has not been accomplished.
It hasn't yet been accomplished. Phase one of the Trump plan required Hamas to release the hostages and for the IDF to withdraw slightly from Gaza. Phase two requires Hamas to disarm and for the IDF to withdraw further. If Hamas refuses to disarm, the only way forward is to resume the fighting until Hamas has been disarmed.

Day by day, but a civil war in Gaza looms.

Any plan that does not give the Palestinians all of their land back is a failure. Do I want that? No, so what is your question?
If you hope it fails.
I don't think we are speaking the same language. If the plan is to give the Palestinians all of their land back then I want that plan to succeed. It the plan does not include giving the Palestinians all of their land back then I do not want such a plan to succeed. Palestinians IN - Zionists OUT.

OK, just say you want it to fail ffs.

I didn't say that. You can't read fcs?

OK, time to be honest. If Trump gets this done it'll be a crowning achievement. I know that TDS runs rampant among many here, but would you prefer a failure at the cost of continued war so that Trump could not get credit.
Sahara Sayonara

All peace plans have failed. Only deporting all Muzzies in Israel and the Occupied Territories to the Barbary Coast will bring more than a temporary peace.

Here's my plan ➡️ Israel demolished. The whole land becomes a secular Palestine. No Zionism, no Hamas. That's the plan I want to see. That's the plan I want to succeed.

This is a very curious sentiment.

I honestly don't think anyone wants for peace to fail in Gaza, yet someone on here did post a tweet from someone that was opposed to it just because Trump negotiated it.

There sure are a lot of MAGA folks that want to throw up this straw-man on people that don't like Trump, and I have to be honest, I don't get it.

Isn't there enough to argue about w/o just making up lies about those whom you might usually disagree with on every issue?

Watch: Clinton, Rice commend Trump administration for phase one of Gaza peace plan

Oct 10, 2025
"Hillary Clinton and Condoleezza Rice, two former secretaries of state, are commending the Trump administration on the first phase of the Gaza peace plan. Clinton and Rice spoke to CBS News' Norah O'Donnell about the monumental developments in the Middle East."

Wonks going Wacky

This was Trump finally pushing the 18 month old peace plan across one of the goal lines. A peace plan drawn up by a democratic administration then taken over byy Trump's administration. This is one of the few examples you will ever find of the two administrations pushing the same plan toward the same goal.

So grow up for just one day and credit Trump, Biden, and the US for getting those hostages home.
Peace is peace no matter who brokers the deal, but the Biden administration had lost its credibility with both the Arabs and the Israelis. The Biden administration was clearly pro Israel until polls showed the Muslim vote in the US was turning against him and he tried so hard to win the Muslim vote back by constantly attacking Israel and Netanyahu that he actually increased anti Israel sentiment and antisemitism in the US and around the world and that is why he was unable to broker any kind of a peace deal. Biden was never the kind of political leader that could broker a deal to end a 1400 year old war. He was just an unprincipled politician who wanted a second term as President.

Trump, only the other hand is a powerful leader who is able to use his "bully pulpit" to influence events around the world and who earned his credibility with Israelis during his first term and with the Arab leaders by offering them a seat at the table if they support his plan for peace between Israel and the so called Palestinians.

Clearly, what was missing from Biden's peace plan was Trump.

Nor will it be accomplished. How do you know when all of Gaza has been disarmed? You can't. And Hamas isnt going to disarm and self deport.
Of course we'll know. There won't be any IDF withdrawal until Hamas disarms. Either Hamas will disarm itself, or the fighting will resume and Hamas will be disarmed. This isn't just Trump and Netanyahu, but the Arab leaders and even the Europeans have agreed Hamas must go.
