Do you mean round about 1948 when they could have ignored all diplomatic UN solutions and slaughtered the Zionists, particularly right after the Haganah Terrorists blew up the King David Hotel, killing innocent men, women, and children? If the Palestinians knew then what we all know now they never would have allowed Zionism to be implemented. Unlike the Muslim nations, Christians, Arabs and others in their nation are treated as equals. They are also the only nation in that whole region in which being gay or lesbian isn't a crime. Arab Muslims in Israel can and do voluntarily serve in the IDF, even being officers over Jewish military personnel. The Arabs also serve as judges, lawyers, surgeons and other professional occupations.
Hamas is a radical Islamic group affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood. Both are terrorists also associated with Hezbollah and ISIS. The so-called Palestinians will never live in peace with Israelis as they will always want to wipe out all Jews.
Once Islam wipes out the Jews, they will focus more time on wiping out Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Atheists, and non-Muslim Communists.
