Needless to say, there are no "envirowhackos" opposing brush clearing. Trump cultists are regurgitating the big lies that were trickled down their eager cult throats. Not just because they obey authority without question, not just to bleat along with the herd, but because they get a sick pervy thrill from lying.
And the DEI thing? That's a particularly disgraceful and desperate lie, told only by the most insecure betas. The hatred shown by the Trump cultists towards fellow Americans here is disgusting. It marks them as not just awful Americans, but awful human beings. You don't see liberals hating on red-state people in trouble, because we're not awful human beings.
A reminder, the LA area isn't forest. It's chaparral. Thick brush. No trees. You can't rake it. You can't even do controlled burns in it like they do in northern California forests, because such burns have a tendency to go out of control even when it's not windy. All you can do is remove brush near structures, and that's not the government's job.
As far as the cause goes ... 100 mph winds. Power lines come down. It's not complicated.

Guy make good points on why a person might need to be carried out of a fire. The fire person in the video comments are unexplainable. This is a big person, can they not carry someone because of size or gender?
