I don't believe it. Our Beloved President will presently* announce that he has reached a "preliminary deal" with someone in Iran and they will get another ten days (or whatever) before we bomb them back into the Stone Age. Shortly thereafter some random Iranian will tell CNN that Trump's preliminary deal never actually happened because he is talking to the janitor or something.

Mark my words.

Am I detecting a bit of frustration there?

I think you’re right about that. A deal that nobody saw coming because it didn’t exist will be announced to keep the markets calm.

It all depends on how he did in the stock market last week. If he wants to buy the low, bombs will fall.

Follow the money.

I particularly enjoy sunrise service on Easter. It's always held outdoors as the sun comes up.

Other than that, I honestly don't go regularly, if at all, any more.

Reason being is that it just seems like the folks who run the church want to run it like it's a state agency.

I overheard a brief conversation some time ago where someone was elected to the board of directors at the church and the one guy asked the one who was just voted in how it feels to be a state employee now.

That's pretty much when I stopped going at all.

You mean The Dear Leader who talks up god didn't go to church on Easter Sunday & played golf instead?

Nooooooo!
Or the brave insurrectionists who go into churches to disrupt, sear and threaten churchgoers and stay away from mosques because they will get killed. Those men and women of virtue like Don Lemon. There is no one fighting you in return and the local and state governments are complicit in the radical crimes.

The so called "Religious" Evangelicals will be the downfall of this country. They want a "Holy War" & the rest of us will pay the price.

Vance & Hegseth, leading Trump by the nose because he's clueless & evil to begin with are leading the charge in that direction.

And their winning.

Sun starts rising in Iran in 3 hours
Doctor: Iran, I have good news and bad news
Iran: Well, Doctor, give us the good news first.
Dr: The good news is you have three hours to live.
Iran: That’s the good news? What’s the bad news?
Doctor: I forgot to tell you three hours ago.

Then they will be committing war crimes as well.

Remember when we used to be the better people?
About the 1920-30s when we disengaged with the world for the most part and let tyrannies like Germany, Japan, Italy, Russia conquer and grow, plant seeds for World War Two.

Letting Evil fester and grow rather than do something to thwart it might not count as "better people".

It seems to me that we have accomplished our mission: Iran has been decimated and will not be a nuclear threat for at least 10 years.

If every 10 years or so we have to wage a one-month war to destory their nuclear objectives, that might be the best way.
