I am demanding that in order for people to continue to get their SNAP benefits, they be required to put in some work. And it can be government sponsored work and probably should be.

If it's "on them" then what is this conversation even about? All of the white, trailer trash Republican voters scattered all over the southern states and Appalachia are on welfare either because there aren't any jobs, the jobs that are available don't pay enough to allow a transition off welfare and still survive, or they're just too "lazy" to work.
There isn't much that can be done about the latter group...besides letting them and their families starve to death and then tossing them, men, women, children and elders into open graves to serve as a stark reminder on the evening news of the need to take low paying jobs even if they won't pay your rent and utilities and groceries and insurance and childcare or even buy the gas needed to drive back and forth from your "job" at the Dollar General store.
But then what do we do about the first two problems?

Guy, we did this stupidity with Slick Willy's welfare reform. It didn't work then and it won't work now.
Some people, like it or not, just aren't cut out to work.

I remember that there was a 2-year lifetime limit on Welfare by Slick and Newt.
Looks like 1996 when expenditures flattened out until about 2002.
If they are able-bodied, and refuse to work, then they get no benefits.
We can't afford to support lazy bastards. If they want to sit in a rubber room for 8-hours a day to get benefits fine.

Of course she will. But, the local or state government can be responsible for it. Let these politicians do something for once, that actually matters.

I DO feel sorry for her illegitimate children. It’s not their fault their mother is an entitled ***** and the baby daddies feel no responsibility. Thus, what we should do is extend the free breakfast and lunch program to include the weekends, and welfare mothers can bring their pre-school children too.
