People don’t get off the hook for being lazy. And they shouldn’t get compensated for it either. No excuses.Okay, and?

Statistics say that lots of people fail to do this. What are the reasons? Why does this happen?
You don't change things with individual anecdotes.
An ex- of mine's mother went around poor neighborhoods trying to teach poor people how to eat well, it was a futile exercise for the most part.
Why?
My anecdote is my educated boss who grew up with sugary foods and still pumps them into his body and his child's body, because he can't change.
