His DOJ will follow through on the promise to update charge to Murder in the 1st Degree, and this time, even these people will dot the "I"(s) and cross the "T"(s) on this one, and it won't be some wannabe prosecutor, having never prosecuted a case in her life, representing the United States Government.

If it had not been National Guard, I suspect the perp would have shot Capital Police, Park Police, Secret Service or some other government personnel, representing the government. National Guard was just there, following orders and taken by surprise, he judged them soft targets and shot two of them. He did not try to stop the Guard being there. Certainly not with a single 357 revolver, but simply to attempt to kill two high profile US Government personnel, and they became his high profile targets of opportunity. I do not like DJT, but do not hold him responsible for her death. I hold the perp responsible. I am deeply sorry for her loss, but will not participate in a half-assed political attack on the President Trump on this one. It was the murderous perpetrator, not the President.
I doubt that he would have had any reason to be in DC. If he had wanted to shoot the Capitol Police, he would not have been at a guard station. Do not keep repeating hw the guard was there just following orders. I know that, and I feel for the families. However, it was a wrongful order given by the President who did so t try showing his power, not because there was any emergency, and now at least one of them have died as a result. This is a tragedy that did not have to happen, and it is due to the president. I am not removing any blame from the killer, because that killler is probably going to get the death penalty, and he he does, I don't have any sympathy for him. However, Trump will get to continue making these illegal orders, putting citizens in harm's way and this will probably not be the last one, especially considering how ICE is behaving. As long as Trump is not held accountable, he will continue putting others in jeopardy.
