I will play the state lottery when it gets over 1 million.
Slightly better chance when the pool is smaller.

Ironic that an 18 year old can't have a drink or a smoke, but can spend their check on a state sponsored lottery.

they should put a ceiling on the winning ticket at hundred million and if no one wins keep putting money into the lower winners.....

I second this. Any fortune that gets handed out is money that the winners didn't already have and any amount no matter the size can only be a help.
