To fantasize that all are in cahoots in a vast clandestine conspiracy, and that the former guy, having acceded to the White House with fewer votes than his opponent, and receiving relentlessly-negative approval in numerous independent surveys throughout his four years would suddenly win, as he brayed, "in a landslide!" while never presenting any credible evidence to sustain his self-serving lie, is to relinquish one's cerebral faculties to mindless devotion, and fall victim to irrational, submissive emotion.
