The Sig P320 is the gun that Pretti had and the one that probably had an uncommanded discharge that sparked the gunfire and Mr. Pretti's unfortunate death.
Check out the vids I posted. After watching those, consider what happened with Pretti's gun. Apparently if you slightly pull the trigger and wiggle the ill fitting slide, the bugger goes off!!!I saw a picture of the Pretti gun. I've never owned a SIG, but frankly, it looked like a real piece of shit to me, a cheap copy of a Glock. I'm used to quality firearms like Beretta, H-K, Kimber and the like.
Pretti had a unity dot finder mounted on it! Who the F put a dot finder on what is designed essentially as a close contact personal defense weapon?
I mean other than to make it look cool and high tech.

Yeah, that gun has been a real menace. Yes, In one of the enhanced videos I have seen, the officer grabs the gun (which you can't see) and then turns right with the gun in his right hand. Seems to me, at that point, the gun went off as you can kind of see his arm flinch a bit. That, and Pretti reaching and having something in his hand and the officers shouting 'gun' sparked the rest of the gunfire. IMOHow the hell did such a gun ever make it onto the streets in common usage much less into police service?
In this case I have to say that the manufacturer has some criminal liability in not adequately designing and testing their product for safety.
Now, in the struggle with three officers, is it any wonder the damn thing went off? Worse, you'd think that Pretti would have known this about his gun and made a point to keep it home when going down to act like a storm-trooper with police.

Look at the video I provided where the gun was tested and went off. The shell case was still in the gun the slide malfunctioned. There is zero evidence of a discharge by Prettis gun. That was a theory. If it did happen then where is the spend shell casing? It doesnt exist.
ITs time to stop making excuses for a wrongful death by poorly trained ICE agents

That theory has no evidence to support it. The street was clear and it would be easy find a spent casing. IM aware of the Sigs malfunction it just didn happen here. These were poorly rained agents who screwed up long before the shooting by escalating the conflict. They pushed the woman down instead of restraining and cuffing her. Then sprayed everyone. Poor trainingThey will be able to tell if it discharged just by smelling the barrel and examining the gun. Who the hell is going to find a single spent casing in that melee in all that snow and ice?
Besides, if you watch the damn video, that Sig can go off at the drop of a hat. The thing is a real danger to own.
I could make a better gun in a machine shop then that POS. The slide was so sloppy in the one video that you could probably fit a penny in the gap.
Standard tolerance for machined parts is usually .001 inch. That thing was more like .06.
The malfunction is well known it just didnt happen here.Look at the video I provided where the gun was tested and went off. The shell case was still in the gun the slide malfunctioned.
I also think that since the slide was not functioning the casing didn't get ejected. Maybe we'll get more info. These ignorant assholes here always seem to blame law enforcement. They will be able to tell if it discharged just by smelling the barrel and examining the gun. I know, I just thought that could be a possibility. You are correct, also, the crime scene was obviously contaminated with people trudging about. I continue to be amazed at the fools going off half-cocked (pun intended) and assuming law enforcement executed Pretti. I think that is the last thing they would do, but I don't hate law enforcement like they seem to.Nah, if the gun fired, it likely ejected the casing on sheer momentum alone otherwise the slide would have jammed and the gun would have clearly been in an inoperable condition looking much like when the mag runs out with slide open.
Thing is, who is going to find it in snow and ice after being ejected 2-3 feet away and being stepped on in the melee battling with Pretti, not to mention the other shots fired.

IMO, The blame starts with Biden letting in millions of illegals then to Walz for allowing an illegal sanctuary city, then to Frey for being a punk then to Pretti for stupidly listening to Marxists telling lies. Pretti obviously had a problem controlling himself as shown by the former video of him kicking out the tail light of a BP vehicle.I remember years ago police were hunting through a neighborhood for some escaped perp and a guy was in his backyard on his cellphone. I guess the guy looked similar to the perp and they mistook the phone for a gun and shot him dead.
Sadly, stuff like this happens because police must make split-second decisions on threat assessment to stay alive. And police are given the benefit of the doubt unless there is clear, gross violation otherwise, who would even want to try being a cop?
Reason #1 to cooperate with police fully and above all, DON'T BRANDISH A WEAPON.
I might also add that it is likely that Pretti didn't know crap about guns if he carried that 320, got it cheap off the street (legally?) and likely carried it just to impress others and make himself feel tough.
I mean, who in their right mind would buy a gun with such loose fitting parts and sloppy workmanship? Guns are usually so tight that they need 500 round through them just to loosen them up (and that is by design--- it is called 'wear-in').
I'd pay good money to know what Pretti and Good's last thoughts were---- I bet their last thought was: "WTF did I just do? Gee, that sure was a bad mistake."
Tards learn the hard way.
