Shows that broke your heart when they ended

I am curious why Laudermlk was cancelled. Pretty good show.

I agree that Enterprise was pulled too soon.

Breaking Bad ended with a weird sense of justice and closure.

The finale of The Sopranos wasn’t great writing or art. It was a cop-out.

I thought the final episodes of NYPD Blue (particularly the final scene) were really good.

The Bernie Mac show. He died.
But from what I saw he was my brother from a different mother.

Actually, I stopped watching before it ended. The kids got too grown up. They went from cute kids to annoying teens.

I remember the boy was an awkward teen in the end.
The little girl stopped being cute.

The worst for this was Rudy Huckstable

I was so disappointed in GoT ending season I refuse to stream any reruns.
The producers pretty much screwed the viewers.

They couldn't think of a better way of dealing with Daenerys Targaryen, so they had her become as crazy as her predecessors.

The letdown was what they did to Jon. Turned him into a murderer and sent him North of the wall while Braun became king.

It was an emotional letdown which nobody could be happy with.

I just remembered the one I was heartbroken about ending.

Love and Marriage.

I loved the show. :)

Seinfeld had the right idea, ending while still on the top.

He’d already made more money than he could ever spend. Why run a show into the ground, tarnishing its legacy?

Conventionally appealing shows with wide spread popularity almost never “end too soon”. They keep pumping episodes until the actors are bored and the writers have run out of ideas.

The only shows that really could be said to have ended too soon are shows that only lasted a few seasons. Good but unconventional shows that never managed to find an audience.

Arrested Development
Strangers with Candy
Firefly
Home Movies
Get a Life

^^^ Seinfeld was at the top when it ended? That is one of the many shows that I have never once watched.

God bless you always!!!

Not my absolute favorite but blue bloods was a good clean show that really did not need to end. they ended it with no real drama and totally left the door open for a another season which is and odd way to go out, generally the main character gets killed

I don't know why, but before the final show was put out there for us, I started to wonder if Anthony was going to be the one who got killed. I started getting the feeling after episode seven of the final eight was shown.

God bless you and the cast always!!!

I stopped watching game of thrones when the zombie army showed up. Then I heard the dark ending sucked. So I was glad I stopped. Loved it in the beginning.

Its an amazing show and well worth watching to the end. Its ending isnt perfect, but who the fuck expected a happy ending in GoT? Its a show about violence and sorrow, with scattered moments of joy from seeing hated villains meet their end. Aria feeding Greyjoy's dead sons to him in a pie is the closest sort of thing you get to a happy ending in GoT.

King Geofrie. The evil blond young king. Wonder what he’s doing now?

He quit acting and went to college I believe. His performance was so fucking spectacular that it made life hard for him in the real world. Fans would often have negative reactions when they met him, which turned him off from the whole acting thing. Its crazy, but i guess its a testament to how brilliant his performance was. King Geoffrie is one of the greatest villains in screen history. You can put him up there with Darth Vader and Hannibal Lecter as far as im concerned..

Nah, rewatch the series and youll see that they were teasing that shit from the beginning. She made MANY choices that were evil and heartless throughout the series. Its Game of Thrones... did you really expect her to be all super good and let bygones be bygones? Have a nice happy ending for everyone? Nah, that isnt how shit works in Westeros. There are no happy endings. The best you can hope for are pyrrhic victories.

Actually, they didnt send him North of the Wall, they sent him TO the wall, which is pretty wild, seeing how its now broken wide open and there isnt a threat on the other side anymore anyway. What the hell is the point of having the Nights Watch NOW?

In the end, Jon said fuck that. He abandoned his post and took his wildling army back to the North. Can you blame him? He already literally died once on that wall. Now they are asking for him to serve TWO lives there? Where is that in the rules? He wasnt gonna do that.

That's why the series failed.

And it's only because of the negativity of the writers that this is the case.

But what can you expect from the movies these days.

Nothing but negative shit.

You know how there are good shows or good concepts and you enjoy them but then they go in a direction and you lose interest? That’s what happened for me. In the beginning. He era, fascinating. The characters riveting. The scenes shocking. I really enjoyed it. Then dragons and walking dead armies. I’m glad you enjoyed it all the way through. I’m jealous.

Did you like walking dead? Do you still like walking dead? I loved it too at first but then the boring story lost me. And killing zombies became boring unless they get cornered by dozens of them bla bla.

I never got into breaking bad. Not even in the beginning. Maybe I didn’t like the premise.
