Shows that broke your heart when they ended

Original Star Trek.....they had so many sub plots that it took three episodes of TNG to equal one original.

Happy Days.....but they jumped the shark because everyone grew up.

Fringe.....
Amazing stuff. Great new storyline and ideas.

What about shows that should have been great but ended up sucking? Like

The Boys is an American satirical superhero television series developed by Eric Kripke for Amazon Prime Video. Based on the comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, it follows the eponymous team of vigilantes as they combat superpowered individuals (referred to as "Supes") who abuse their powers for personal gain and work for a powerful company (Vought International) that ensures the general public views them as heroes.
On paper, "The Boys" has a lot of potential. I watched the first season and a few episodes of the second and just came away with the feeling that the writers were just trying to tear down some cherished Ameican mythos.

Now, one show I am still working through is called "Elementary." with Johnny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu. I'm only into season two so far, but I've found it remarkably entertaining. It is a modern "Sherlock Holmes" complete with a Dr. Watson (Lucy Liu) and plays on the standard themes associated with Conan Doyle's character.

I am certain that when I finish the series, I'll be left wanting more.

BTW, they had a great take on Moriarity who was played by Natalie Dormer (heart skips a beat) and is an early love entanglement for Sherlock. I enjoyed the way the played the arch enemies and a love interest back story.

I found out that they didn't continue this storyline and I was massively disappointed in that.

Fringe was outstanding.

It had nothing to do with any particular ideology. I just could not connect to any of the characters or stories.

I'm all about good storytelling, which is; of course, subjective.
I hate the TV show Avengers because it's too much story/plot/talking and not enough superhero stuff. Hated the Hulk, Wonder Woman and 6 million dollar man because it was 40 minutes plot, 10 minutes superhero shit and 10 minutes of commercials.

They have a TV show called Avengers? Based on Marvel Comic?

I wasn't even aware of it.

LOL...

Diana Rigg was a co-star. Hottie for sure. I remember watching that show as a kid.

Please, no old-as-dirt jokes. :)
I was a teenager. and all 3 ladies were hot.

Esp the one that left the show to become Pussy Galore.

The Bernie Mac show. He died.
But from what I saw he was my brother from a different mother.

He had a hard row to hoe with this one.
