There was already a thread in this. Trump isnt demanding anything, this is being pushed by some anonymous "person familiar with the situation".

Trump does have a lawsuit, but these articles saying he is "demanding $230M" are inaccurate.

And Trump did not pay for his lawyer fees for these cases...it was reported over and over again the GOP /campaign paid for Trump's legal fees.
