Should Trump Trial Go Direct To Supreme Court?

We can’t leave in the hands of the New York judicial system, for one they’re politically slower than molasses and more than half the country believe they’re Democrat and fully corrupted. The SCOTUS has 100% trust.
You have no choice in the matter.

You realize this is the first state case in history that tried to prosecute for federal election charges. That ALONE should get it tossed.
Completely false.
Trump was convicted on 34 counts of NY state statutes.
Please post the federal statutes you’re referencing.

Don’t think.
Article III Section 2

"The judicial Power shall extend to all Cases, in Law and Equity, arising under this Constitution, the Laws of the United States, and Treaties made, or which shall be made, under their Authority;--to all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls;--to all Cases of admiralty and maritime Jurisdiction;--to Controversies to which the United States shall be a Party;--to Controversies between two or more States;--between a State and Citizens of another State;--between Citizens of different States;--between Citizens of the same State claiming Lands under Grants of different States, and between a State, or the Citizens thereof, and foreign States, Citizens or Subjects."

Trump is a legal resident of Florida and was tried in NY. So the "between a State and Citizens of another State" might give them jurisdiction.

Someone could make the argument that this trial and conviction is interfering with the election as it was a purely political trial.

If some other state takes him off the ballot due to this they will definitely have jurisdiction.

Like I've said all through this thread I dont think they will take up this case and I think NY will over turn it on appeal but that wont matter as the people who are for this type of shit are getting what they want. To say Trump is a felon leading into the election. I think that's going to backfire on them though.

It has to go through all the courts. It can’t go directly to the SC. Trump’s s sentence will most likely have completed before it ever got to the SC.

Damn Fakey, you’re thick.

The NY charges had to be NY crimes.

But the “other” crime which a defendant had to try to be committing or concealing wasn’t even clearly identified. And asshole Bragg had mentioned federal election law.

Try not to always be such a retard.
