Around 3000 Iranians are confirmed dead, as they were killed by their government as they protested their government that has more interest in fighting America and Israel than actually governing their own people.

However, A source inside Iran who was able to call out told CBS News on Tuesday that activist groups working to compile a full death toll from the protests, based on reports from medical officials across the country, believed the toll was at least 12,000, and possibly as high as 20,000. The same source said security forces were visiting the many private hospitals across Tehran, threatening staff to hand over the names and addresses of those being treated for injuries sustained in the protests. CBS News has not been able to independently verify the massive death toll indicated by the source, which is some many times larger than the numbers reported by most activist groups independently in recent days — though those groups have always made it clear that their tallies are likely underestimated.

What would you do to help them, if anything?

I'd say a big round of Strikes at the Revolutionary Guard's camps and bases, followed by select strikes on major transport points.

Transport mobility works for the government, not the people revolting.

I don't see a good outcome for us. Who takes over? We don't know, nor can we force the issue without a significant commitment. I do not support putting this country in a position the be stuck in another Middle East war when there is no plausible benefit for us. We have enough to do within our own hemisphere.

How hard would it be they do have wheels today. They can be made small enough to fit in a back pack. Iran was committed to setting them off to create an apocalypse. They believed that would bring the great prophet and make us all Muslims. We couldnt stop them unless we depose the regime

Did you note the yield? 20 tons. We use that level of explosives in shock tests! Suitcase nukes are James Bond era fiction. They will never do enough damage to justify their use when a truck filled with ammonium nitrate will do enough damage.

Could Iran have built one? Doubtful. Could they have built a nuke? A simple one, yes. We should dispose the regime for that reason alone.
