Should Trump Get The Nobel Peace Prize

Based on reports from early 2026, Donald Trump’s second term saw a rapid acceleration of military actions, with reported strikes across seven nations within his first 11 months, including new targets like Venezuela and Nigeria. Reports suggest he oversaw nearly as many air strikes in his initial months as the previous administration did over four years.

“In the modern era, no American president has ordered more military strikes against as many different countries as Donald Trump.”

It's all right here if you want to see the facts

Given the history of past recipients, the Nobel doesn't carry the meaning that it once did.
it all came apart [or together] when it was named for the guy who gave the world dynamite...but in its defense, they found the courage to award it to arafat who is said to have had the good sense to bring a gun into the UN.

This is exactly why Trump conditioned you to not trust the liberal media. Any media that reports negatively on him, you don't believe. You have been programmed.

You won't like this either: Trump authorized almost as many military strikes in 2025 as Biden did over his four-year term. The Post reported.

Are they lying? How about Axios?

Axios article with an opening that nearly matches Warren’s statement: "No president in the modern era has ordered more military strikes against as many different countries as Donald Trump." The Axios story defines "modern era" as presidents post-9/11: George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Trump and Joe Biden.

After reviewing these sources and additional reporting, we found that Trump has authorized the highest number of strikes and targeted the most countries compared with other 21st century presidents.

Countries targeted by president

  • From the start of his first term to now, Trump struck 10 countries. Since starting his second term in January 2025, he has struck seven countries and boats in the Caribbean Sea and Eastern Pacific Ocean.
  • Biden’s military strikes hit five countries.
  • Obama’s strikes hit seven countries over two terms.
  • Bush’s strikes hit five countries over two terms.

Obama ended the Iraq military operation in 2011, but introduced new military operations in Iraq and Syria after the rise of the Islamic State. The Afghanistan war continued through Trump’s first term, with Biden ending it — amid a chaotic withdrawal and suicide bombing that killed 13 U.S. military members — in 2021.

  • Trump: Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Pakistan, Somalia, Libya, Syria, Venezuela, Nigeria, Iran, is Cuba next?

  • During Trump’s first term, he drastically increased airstrikes on Somalia and Yemen compared with Obama, who already increased strikes on those nations significantly during his presidency.

  • In 2017, Trump authorized over 10,000 more bombings on Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan than Obama and Bush did in each of their years with the highest military activity, 2016 and 2003, according to the U.S. Air Forces Central Command.
  • Biden was involved in the least military activity, authorizing 694 air and drone strikes during his four-year term

I miss Biden

Nobel was the actual inventor of dynamite. . .

He saw the destructive use of his invention, and that didn't sit well with him, so he started the whole "Nobel Prize" thing.

But your point is still made.

Considering some of the recipients, the award doesn't mean shit anymore.

That's why I said you can click on the link and see all the facts. Facts that don't match your life views you poo poo.
It does not matter anymore. Its just sides now. If Progs win the midterms they will lose in 2028. unless the passed Trump legislation makes them look good in spite of their crazy agendas.

if he brings peace to the Middle East? Serious question. Israel is no longer the enemy of most of the Arab states and hasn't been for a while. In fact, Israel has decent relations with just about everyone in the world but for Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis (none of whom are actual countries), and Iran. If Trump can get rid of the Iranian regime which exports all of the hate toward Israel and brings peace to the entire Middle East he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. Don't you think?
The passage of time turned this thread into satire.

The only way Trump wins is if he successfully rigs the next elections. No way independents are buying this again. No way.

BUT, I said that in 2004. It happened to be close enough Bush squeeked it out by stealing Ohio. Ken Blackwell and the owner of Diebold Voting Machines were involved. They QUICKLY certified the vote and Ohio law says once the vote is certified, Kerry can't have a recount. And 2000 was close enough the Supreme's used some bullshit justification why they sided with Bush. But it was close enough the Supreme's could go along. Evidence of that is you don't even realize 2000 was stolen. So they got away with it.

The Supreme's would have gone along with 2020 too but Trump lost too many swing states. They could not go along even though you did.
