In 2024 the violent crime rate in DC went way down for the third year in a row, to 516 per 100,000 and is not 1200.

You're using bad numbers.

DC crime rate has gone down and improved the past three years, there is no reason what so ever for trump to over reach with his power locally.

At a quick glance these cities are some that are worse than D.C.

Chicago, Miami, Baltimore, Dallas, L A, Phoenix.....
