Should Trump at this point demolish the Republican Party?

It's pretty obvious that the GOP needs to be brought to heel and return to their conservative roots. Otherwise, the GOP will become fully joined at the hip with the Democrat Party, like they're quickly becoming. So what should Trump's next move be? He's already been a Democrat and, I might add, a very successful Republican.

Should he re-imagine his political career, and form a completely new Independent third party? A party whose platform is America first?

Now for the obligatory content:

"Conservatism in the United States is a political and social philosophy based on a belief in limited government, individualism, traditionalism, republicanism, and limited federal governmental power in relation to U.S. states.[1] Conservative and Christian media organizations, along with American conservative figures, are influential, and American conservatism is one of the majority political ideologies within the Republican Party.[2][3][4]"

There's a decent chance he will, since he'll say or do absolutely anything to save his skin.

He's already threatened to spill some beans on De Santis, so I'd imagine he'll take advantage of the weakness of these politicians by threatening them, too.

This has never been about politics or America for him. It has only been about his brittle self esteem.

So, here we go.

That definition of conservatism no longer holds true. Trump and Bannon smashed traditionalism.. Trump even called to terminate the Constitution so he could be president.

Trump and Bannon trashed tradition. Trump even called to terminate the Constitution so he could be president.

The establishment from what I have read put some threats out there that if McCarthy was not elected speaker that we may have a Prog speaker. Repub voters over and over have pushed for more of an active Repub leadership. Instead, the same old same old is coming down the pike. We are going to see minor victories promoted as all inspiring. Before January comes Mitch is going to give away the store.

You don't have a clue what conservatism is. And it doesn't necessarily mean you sit on your thumbs while the Democrats circumvent the election system through fraudulent methods. In case you haven't been watching, leftists tyrants are being deposed in more than several countries of the world right now. And if it means suspending certain parts of the constitution to preserve the Republic, then so be it.

Abraham Lincoln understood that.

He already has. The organization formerly known as the Republican Party is dead.

It's pretty obvious that the GOP needs to be brought to heel and return to their conservative roots.
You would not know a conservative principle if it kicked you in the nuts.

The very fact you think Trump is the man to do it shows just how stunningly ignorant and profoundly stupid you are.

Family Values. This means committing adultery, cheating on all three wives, including fucking a porn star while your third wife is home with your newborn.

Honesty. Do I really need to write several pages worth of Crooked Donald's rampant dishonesty here?

Small government. This means putting forth record spending budgets and running up trillion dollar deficits BEFORE the Covid pandemic. It also means demanding bigger stimulus checks than the Democrats wanted.

And then we have Trump's far left protectionist tariffs which increased our trade gap with China to a record high.

Making your fortune by ripping off investors and banks are not Republican values.

Stealing the retirement nest eggs of the elderly at your fake university are not Republican values.

Supping with Nazis are not Republican values.

It's a moot point.

The 2020 election was for 'all the marbles' and thanks to the Covid crisis, Dimm's found ways to steal it.

There's no going back and as a result, our Country and freedom and liberty eventually disappears down the Progressive totalitarian rabbit hole.

Are you flippin kidding me, Trump, a conservative? Have you no brain? The trade war with China, noting that we got our asses kicked--that was the antithesis of conservatism. Overturning Rowe, not exactly conservatism. Socializing medicine to get a Covid vaccine, tell me, how was that conservatism? Dropping money from helicopters, or at least enhanced unemployment benefits and Covid stimulus payments, you want to call that conservatism?

I mean you morons are dumber than a box of rocks and wouldn't know a conservative policy if it jumped up and bit you in the ass. The reality is Trump is the gift that keeps on giving. Delivered the Senate to the Democrats in 2020 and damn, done even better in 2022. Six senate candidates he backed, hell, all but personally picked, and every damn one of them lost. I mean what is it with the fat orange man? He is dumber than shit, self absorbed to the point of mental illness, and has never given two shits about you, this country, or even his own damn devil spawn. I got to be honest, if I were to run into him on the street I would kick his fat sloppy ass. He is a real piece of shit. I mean the Secret Service would pull me off of him, but they wouldn't be in any hurry. He treats them like shit like he treats everyone else.

The best thing that can happen to the Republican party is that Trump gets thrown in jail, I mean like under the damn jail. The Republican party forgets they had anything to do with him. Barring that, continue to hitch your cart to that fat ass mule, and find yourself relegated to the scrap heap of history, along with the Whigs and the Know Nothings.

The problem most people don't see is that "a person" doesn't define the republican party. Trump was just the latest iteration of elected officials. Republican ideology existed before him and will exist after.

You all point to Trump and all the things he's supposedly done that are anti republican, yet, hide behind your democratic elected officials who also don't hold to democratic standards.

How about we just say, nobody is perfect?

Great post.

We the People. A term that suggests an average American blue collar worker. We built this country and keep it running every day.
And in case you haven't noticed, we don’t really care for wokist nonsense. (Bud Light)
Ive been blue collar since my first job in 1967,
The Democrats have lost us in the wackiness.
Trump will win in 2024, God willing.
If the Dems want us back, changes need to be made.
