Greenland is not exactly the "land of plenty" people think it is.
It is a barren, frozen wasteland. Very few people live there for GOOD REASONS. Those who do live there have a high incidence of being the product of 1st cousin marriage. (Because of the lack of people)
They don't do gardening....or a lot of outdoor activities. Hard to pour concrete when it freezes before it cures.
However, the residents often complain about a lack of jobs and resources to make a living. Infrastructure breaks down often in harsh conditions. Public schools? If you can make it in your snowmobile. Long winter nights with only a few hours of sun last well into the summer for when the sun really doesn't set.
Men often die younger up there in the harsh conditions....hypothermia gets a LOT of men.
Pew Research Center, June 11, 2024I hate to break this to you, Hector but the rest of the world sees Donald Trump as a leader. They may not like him but they do respect him. They understand that a strong America makes the world safer.
Greenland is an ally. We already have a base there. Security wasn’t an issue until Trump manufactured it to distract from the fact that prices aren’t coming down. With the advent of a militarized space race and now war in Ukraine Greenland is a national security issue....
With all due respect, Hector? They liked Biden because they think a weak America is a good thing. They dislike Trump because he doesn't let them get away with things like not paying their fair share for NATO defense. I'd be curious as to what Biden's reputation is NOW after those people have gotten to see how awful a President he was and how much more dangerous the world is with a weak US President!Pew Research Center, June 11, 2024
Globally, Biden Receives Higher Ratings Than Trump
Though confidence in U.S. President Joe Biden has declined in recent years, even fewer people have confidence in former U.S. President Donald Trump to do the right thing regarding world affairs.
Across 34 countries surveyed, a median of 28% are confident in Trump; 69% are not. (The survey was conducted before Trump’s conviction in a state criminal trial in New York.)
Majorities in Canada and across Europe say they have no confidence in Trump. More than eight-in-ten adults hold this view in France, Germany and Sweden.
Trump also receives poor assessments in Latin America, where at least six-in-ten in every country surveyed – including 86% in Mexico – do not have confidence in him to do the right thing in world affairs.

You've got to be kidding me! Are you already blaming Trump for prices not coming down? HE'S NOT EVEN BEEN SWORN INTO OFFICE, KONRADV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Greenland is an ally. We already have a base there. Security wasn’t an issue until Trump manufactured it to distract from the fact that prices aren’t coming down.
YEP, you better get used to it. It’s only going to get worse. You've got to be kidding me! Are you already blaming Trump for prices not coming down? HE'S NOT EVEN BEEN SWORN INTO OFFICE, KONRADV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mortgage rate are going up because the market knows his policies are bad for the country. You've got to be kidding me! Are you already blaming Trump for prices not coming down? HE'S NOT EVEN BEEN SWORN INTO OFFICE, KONRADV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL...Oh my god...you really are blaming him! You're amusing...seriously. I can't wait to tell people about the guy on the internet that blamed Trump for high prices TWO WEEKS BEFORE HE WAS SWORN INTO OFFICE!!! I mean THAT is some funny shit!YEP, you better get used to it. It’s only going to get worse.
Biden understand American strength, which is through international leadership. With all due respect, Hector? They liked Biden because they think a weak America is a good thing. OK, but if I can’t get a dozen eggs for less than $2 on Day One, there’ll be hell to pay.LOL...Oh my god...you really are blaming him! You're amusing...seriously. Mortgage rates are going up? More than they sky rocketed during Biden's term? You're almost as funny as Konradv, Marener!Mortgage rate are going up because the market knows his policies are bad for the country.
Remind me again when it was that Russia invaded Ukraine? Let's see...the first time was during the Obama/Biden Administration and the second time was during the Biden/Harris Administration.Biden understand American strength, which is through international leadership.
That’s why Ukraine exists.
Trump doesn’t get that. He thinks isolationism is strength. It’s not.
OK...Little Buddy! Just as long as you're not being unreasonable! (Eye Roll)OK, but if I can’t get a dozen eggs for less than $2 on Day One, there’ll be hell to pay.
Trump isn't presidentGreenland is an ally. We already have a base there. Security wasn’t an issue until Trump manufactured it to distract from the fact that prices aren’t coming down.
Russia had to invade when they did, or else Ukraine was going to be out of reach forever. That’s why they rushed to do it so hastily. If they had waited, Biden and the EU would have made it entirely impossible.Remind me again when it was that Russia invaded Ukraine? Let's see...the first time was during the Obama/Biden Administration and the second time was during the Biden/Harris Administration.
When Trump was in office Russia DIDN'T invade Ukraine.
So let's think about this, Marener! Who's foreign policy actually worked...and who's was an abject failure?
That statement made no sense at all. Russia invades Ukraine during the Obama/Biden years...doesn't during the Trump years and then invades again during the Biden/Harris years...but you think they "had to"? If they had to then why didn't they do so during Trump's term?Russia had to invade when they did, or else Ukraine was going to be out of reach forever. That’s why they rushed to do it so hastily. If they had waited, Biden and the EU would have made it entirely impossible.
There was no sense of urgency under Trump. NATO was a shit show.

Would you say that any NATO nation that does not meet it's military spending obligation has a sense of urgency?Russia had to invade when they did, or else Ukraine was going to be out of reach forever.
