No. However if they attack us we should retaliate.

Iran through proxies has attacked Israel and us for a long time. They have been a pain in the ass forever.

No issues hitting them while their proxies fire at our ships

Israel doesn't need us.

Are you kidding ?!?!

Without the earlier aid of Nazi Germany and the ability of Israeli lobbies to extort $ Trillions from working Americans, your "Israelis" would be living in mud huts with only sticks and stones for defense:

EXCERPT “In cooperation with the German authorities, Zionist groups organized a network of some forty camps and agricultural centers throughout Germany where prospective settlers were trained for their new lives in Palestine. Although the Nuremberg Laws forbid Jews from displaying the German flag, Jews were specifically guaranteed the right to display the blue and white Jewish national banner. The flag that would one day be adopted by Israel was flown at the Zionist camps and centers in Hitler's Germany. /19

Himmler's security service cooperated with the Haganah, the Zionist underground military organization in Palestine. The SS agency paid Haganah official Feivel Polkes for information about the situation in Palestine and for help in directing Jewish emigration to that country. Meanwhile, the Haganah was kept well informed about German plans by a spy it managed to plant in the Berlin headquarters of the SS. /20 Haganah-SS collaboration even included secret deliveries of German weapons to Jewish settlers for use in clashes with Palestinian Arabs. /21

In the aftermath of the November 1938 "Kristallnacht" outburst of violence and destrucltion, the SS quickly helped the Zionist organization to get back on its feet and continue its work in Germany, although now under more restricted supervision. /22” CONTINUED

Support for Israel comes to $1.8 trillion, including special trade advantages, preferential contracts, or aid buried in other accounts. In addition to the financial outlay, U.S. aid to Israel costs some 275,000 American jobs each year."CONTINUED

Probably true. Exagerrated but true I'm sure.

No, I'm not.

Not a single US soldier has fought alongside an Israeli soldier in any conflict since the formation of Israel in 1948. They can defend themselves.

Should the US join Israel in bombing Iran?

I don't know what else we could do except fly the planes and fire hellfire missiles ourselves. We may be even doing that now.

They aren't using hellfire missiles. Hellfire missiles are not fired from fighter jets. Only one attack jet carries them, the A-10, and Israel doesn't use those. They are too slow to be safely fired from a fighter jet.

Israel made the request but it was rejected by the Trump Administration..for now.

I agree with Trump’s decision.

This is not an American fight.

Do you agree with the Trump Administration decision?

War is no longer practical and it never was productive. We should continually reduce our military and the cost it weighs upon US. Any future war won't involve troops , it will involve more and more complex and dangerous weapons. That's why it should be avoided at all costs.

For now I agree, but if the IDF cannot find a workaround to destroy Fordow and other Iranian nuclear assets buried deep, then if the US is serious about preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, it may have to use its 30,000 lb bunker busters to destroy these sites and end the Iranian nuclear weapons program. Israel does not have planes capable of delivering these weapons, so it would have to be the US.

Israel is doing exactly what they said they'd do if Iran got close to obtaining a nuclear weapon

“The IC [Intelligence Community] continues to assess that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Supreme Leader Khamanei has not authorized the nuclear weapons program he suspended in 2003.

The IC is monitoring if Tehran decides to reauthorize its nuclear weapons program.” - Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, 25 March 2025

Trump said a few hours ago he was not ruling out further US involvement in the War.

I don't believe that Israel would have attacked Iran if Trump had not given his consent, despite what Netanyahu and Trump say to the contrary. The US is already knee deep in it anyway.

This is Trump's War, and I hope he can contain it.

Wouldn't bombing a nuclear facility release radiation into the atmosphere.

The actual quote is "

which means that's what Tulsi's assessment is, but if true, why is Iran stockpiling 60% enriched uranium, which has no purpose other than to build nuclear weapons? It may be Iran is not currently building nuclear weapons, but it is certainly threatening to build them, so a more useful assessment would be how long would it take Iran to build nukes and how quickly could it turn them out if it carried out its threats to build them?

While Iran is able to enrich uranium, it has an effective nuclear threat to ward of interference in the many wars it is organizing and funding in the ME.
