And we live partly in a social tension arc. In the vast majority of cases, our Christian societies are democracies that are on the path to achieving complete equality between men and women. And the only profound reason and source for equal rights that I truly know of is the Bible, for example: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

By the way: In the Catholic Church, it's not about which idiots rule it — whether you or others. Among other things, it's also about not constantly complaining, even if you don't like something at first and only realize it later.

You speak of "the Church" as if that means anything. Ding, this is the problem with humanity and it is one of the main ones, which is trust and belief in authority figures. NOT because they are right, but because you let them make decisions for you as if some invisible god came down from the sky and waved a magic wand. This is a crazy way to think. It is no different from quoting Schumer, Schiff, Reagan, Bush or any other person or group "in authority".
