It was the Catholic Church who decided priests couldn't marry which i believe led to so many of them becoming pedophiles. It takes a unique person to repress their sexual desires completely.
Wait, what? Abstinence causes pedophilia? You got a link for that?

what did Saint Paul said about bishops?

when they should have a wife, then that goes also for priests.
Again, you are the expert, what form of sex outside of marriage is not a sin to Catholics?

On different paths we are. My point: What does the word Apostle mean? What did Jesus send 72 disciples out to do? Did either Apostles or the 72 disciples go by themselves? Did Jesus say he was going to build a church? What is the purpose of that church? Are we to behave like hermits--it is only the individual and the Holy Spirit? No one else needed. What has the Holy Spirit taught you about scripture, about history, about community worship? Did the Holy Spirit teach Joseph Smith men should have a plurality of wives? In other words, is the Holy Spirit teaching every person everything and no one has no need of anyone else?

I began with asking you the question and you got out the dodge ball. Fine. I believe you could answer my question and I am now convinced you won't answer my question. Moving on....
Catholic priests need not have 4 wives, just one.

My charming late father-in-law agreed with you, if I
m understanding your viewpoint, and thought that celibacy was unnatural.

Maybe it's different for women, but if it had been up to me, I'd have stayed a virgin my whole life or until I met a man who would have been a suitable father to my children.

my opinion is, that celibacy should not be compulsory, but voluntary, just as marriage is also.

somebody said: Opinions may vary.
It’s an easy question that you refuse to answer swear, is sex outside of marriage a sin? Not sure why you can’t answer an easy question and why you are motivated not to be honest.

There is a whole lot of six-of-one and a half-dozen-of-the-other within the Catholic church.

I'm a traditional Catholic and I believe that sex is for the purpose of making children within the Sacrament of Marriage, but there are plenty of Catholics who believe otherwise.

So it is no longer a sin? When did God change his standards?

.

God didn't change His standards. The Vatican changed theirs.

That is different than when was growing up, my cousins were Catholic and the Pope was infallible through God, so I guess I misunderstood what the Pope is. Thanks for the correction.

There are folk who do not agree with him, which is perfectly acceptable. The smart ones disagree with him in private.
