No state should deny the citizen their right to vote for any candidate.

However a State also has the obligation to protect it's residents towards criminals, that have been officially charged by a court, filed and based upon crushing evidence.

We fully understand the rule being applied. Colorado and Maine said Trump violated the 14th Amendment which disqualifies him. IMO, they don’t have the right to make that determination any more than Texas has the right to impeach Biden for treason. Again, IMO, this is a federal election, therefore, a federal court should be charged with deciding whether or not Trump committed and insurrection and violated the 14th Amendment, otherwise, we have total chaos with each state ruling as they say fit on the same case. I suppose a Wyoming court could have removed Obama from the ballot by determining that he was not born in the USA. Each SOS from other red states could have said they agree and done the same with their justification being simply that they agree with Wyoming. Why not? It’s ludicrous, but we shouldn’t expect anything different from childish, TDS suffering Democrats who don’t care one bit about the rule of law of the sanctity of our elections. They want Trump gone at all costs and will do anything to see that happen.

Why are you leaving out the part that says Congress has the power to enforce through legislation. That means they can make laws to define how the amendment is used. They haven’t made any laws from what I’ve seen except for when the granted amnesty to the confederates following the war.
