Should Republicans who voted for Infrastructure be driven from the party?

Is a Republican who supports infrastructure a RINO?
Do they deserve to be driven from the party just because they did what is best for their district and state?

Biden's tax and spend monstrosity is less than 15% infrastructure. Stop propagandizing and call it what it is.

From the link:

It has also become the latest proxy war in the battle over Trumpism in the GOP, with Trump and his hardcore supporters vowing revenge against the Republicans who helped turn the measure into law -- a victory that eluded Trump during his own presidency.
The bill had split the top Republicans on the Hill, with Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell among the 19 GOP senators to vote for it, while House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy actively lobbied his colleagues to try to kill it.

Sounds like the former POTUS is burned he could not pull it off himself when he had a GOP Congress…

They didn't do what was best for the district or their state. They stabbed their constituents in the back.

they keep complaining about the shipping logjam at the ports, but forbid doing anything about it, such as the infrastructure to deliver the goods.

Infrastructure isn't the problem, douchebag. Biden is.

Banish Them with Cherub McCarthy Wielding His Flaming Sword to Guard the Sacred Path to the Tree of Trump!!!
If McCarthy is another RINO/Neo Con he needs to go. We are tired of this. We do not want getting a few people who are Progs into jail and no elimination of the Prog programs expanding. Including the new ones they will introduce. Tired of this. Tired of being taxed for it.

Yes the transformation of the GOP to the GQP should continue. Why not?

leftwinger is asking a deliberately deceptive question. It is one thing for any Congress-critter to vote his or her conscience. Perhaps a Congress-critter simply sees a big need for actual infrastructure work.

it is another thing to do so on a massive profligate spending bill that pays only fractional attention to the actual issue of infrastructure. This is a pork-laden piece of law that now funds not just work on infrastructure but on lots of other government programs — along the lines of redistribution of wealth, etc. — ALL WITHOUT concern for how it is paid for.

it is the ongoing endless tidal wave of debt that’s going to get us eventually. The GOP doesn’t have clean hands on this topic. But they were at least starting to show some concern about it in opposing this monstrous deficit spending nightmare. The GOP Congress-critters who gave this atrocity of a bill the appearance of being “bi-partisan” DO need to get punished by the Party in some way.

Republicans aren't much different than Democrats. Both parties spend like drunken sailors.

Once again, I challenge you to provide a link that supports your claim that only a “fractional” part is actual infrastructure

Your post demonstrates the problem with the GOP. Once they embrace the lie, no amount of facts will change their mind.

Any republican who voted for the infrastructure bill was putting the nation before politics.

Those politicians who voted no on the bill should reject the infrastructure money but we all know that those same politicians who voted against it will go back to their districts and claim they did then take credit for it.

It's disgusting.
