Should President Trump's Birthday Be A Federal Holiday?

On one hand it's already Flag Day, but on the other hand I don't think that anybody deserves it more than him? The day that he survived that first assassination attempt should be a holiday too though in my opinion. OhPleaseJustQuit, JGalt, toobfreak, and Thunk, what do you guys and anybody else think about this?

Oh and before it's even brought up I wanted to ask both questions so that's why the thread title question and the poll question doesn't match.

You've seen enough of my posts to realize that I abhor all of the purely political persecution that Trump has had to endure and I agree he is one of the strongest willed people I've seen in my life. Does that give him idol status or justify wasting more tax dollars on another holiday? That gets a resounding no--and truth be known, I doubt that he would support it either.

I don't think anyone, except democrats on this thread, is disputing that Trump has been subjected to a boat load of political persecution, but that isn't and shouldn't be a justification for idolizing him. I appreciate the work he has done and continues to do. That doesn't mean I support another waste of taxpayer $$$. We've had enough of that. These political figures are not gods. We need to keep things in perspective or the debt will continue to explode because of someone's ego.
