The Iran problem is just about solved, Venezuela problem solved Cuba is next. Trump is shifting the balance of power in favor of America. Wages are up living costs down, crime and murder down except in democrat cities, border is closed, we have relaibel energy policies, inflation is slowing and many prices are down, middle class got the biggest tax cut in history along with wage increases have more affordability, the border is closed, 3 million illegals deported, drug deaths down, economy fundamentals are strong, you bet your ass everything is better
And now that I am living in the Canadian province of Ontario we regularly hear about big companies who will soon be moving an important part of their operations from Ontario, to somewhere in the USA!
Honda is shifting some CR-V production from Alliston, Ontario, to the U.S. to mitigate new tariffs and align with increased U.S. demand, according to May 2025 reports. Despite this, Honda denies a full exit, stating the Alliston facility will operate at full capacity by diverting non-U.S. bound vehicles to other markets.

Key Details on the Shift:
The situation remains fluid as Honda balances its "build where you sell" strategy with its extensive manufacturing footprint in Ontario
- Production Realignment: While some CR-V production for the U.S. market moves to Ohio, the Canadian plant will maintain capacity by switching to other models or markets.
- Impact of Tariffs: The move is largely in response to U.S. import tariffs.
- Investment Paused: Honda has postponed some planned $11 billion investments in Canadian electric vehicle (EV) production due to shifting market demands and trade policies.
- Commitment to Canada: Honda has stated that it is not moving all production out of Canada and that the Alliston plant remains crucial to its North American operations.
