It would be no different than the democrats trying to make holidays for every conceivable reason. Trump is a man that is doing good things for the country and he's definitely going to be recognized positively through history, but he isn't an idol and I am not in the habit of worshipping politicians.
On one hand it's already Flag Day, but on the other hand I don't think that anybody deserves it more than him? The day that he survived that first assassination attempt should be a holiday too though in my opinion. Celebrating ALL Americans is where we should focus our attention--July 4 and Labor Day do that.

I think you're jaded April. You fail to recognize that Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley and Kennedy DIED while serving this country. Ford and Reagan had attempts made on their lives while occupying the office. Trump, at best, would be in the same boat as George Wallace as both of them were CANDIDATES for the office when the attempts were made. I believe Trump is doing some great things and I support him 100%, however, I'm not going to jump on any superman bandwagons for him.
